Growing up

So, I bought new furniture. I needed a new bed, and I had never bought a dresser when I moved.

This may be one of the most grown up things I have ever done… except, I had to take my mom with me. (Well, it’s progress, not perfection.)

You did right to take someone with you. It’s a very sensible plan. Another perspective is always helpful when buying furniture alone. So it was your mother — who cares? Someone whose opinion you trust and who isn’t afraid to be honest… It’s all good. I took my mum with me when i went looking for dining tables and sofas, and she was a fabulous help.
